Short Description : – Colocasia also called Taro Root is a stuffy, fleshy underground root. It is filled with numerous nutrients and is consumed as a staple food. It is oval or globular in form with a hairy coating on its skin and a whitish yellow flesh. The outer skin is first take away before using it for any preparation. Also, it is always consumed after food preparation and never eaten raw.
